We’ve been reporting on this for a while now (here) and finally here’s our first look at Jem and the Holograms…
The adaptation of the 1980s animated series arrives in cinemas on October 23rd and is directed by G.I. Joe: Retaliation’s Jon M. Chu who told USA Today: “It’s actually about a group of young people who are going to be inundated with this idea of fame and fortune and products and stuff, and within all that, how do you stay true to who you really are? That’s the real soul of the movie.”

The film stars Aubrey Peeples as Jem, with Stefanie Scott, Hayley Kiyoko, and Aurora Perrineau playing the Holograms. The film also stars Juliette Lewis, Ryan Guzman, and Molly Ringwald, and is directed by Jon Chu. The movie is set open on October 23.
