Shane Black is making a new Predator movie. It’s called The Predator. We’re extremely excited.
The new movie will take place in the same universe as the other Predator movies so no reboot! Yay!
And now we have an image of the principal cast:

The image has Black in front wearing a baseball cap and also Sterling K. Brown (The People vs. O.J. Simpson), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Boyd Halbrook (Narcos), Jacob Tremblay (Room), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse) and Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele).
In addition to this, we also know that three other new casts members have been added and they are all pretty exciting.
Firstly Thomas Jane has been added – Jane played The Punisher in the 2004 movie and the awesome Dirty Laundry short. In addition to this, Alfie Allen, best known as Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones is in there and as an ex-marine hunting The Predator so too is Chuck and Dexter star Yvonne Strahovski who will play mother to Jacob Tremblay, a troubled boy who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by his father played by Holbrook.
Black also confirmed that there’ll be no cutting back on the violence and gore of the original two movies on Twitter… and we reckon this should relieve the fears of many fans. Check it out below…
The Predator will be released in February 2018.
And, just to be clear… PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.
