Has Daisy Ridley’s Star Wars Episode VII caracter name been revealed?

July 16th, 2014 by Marc Comments

Our friend Benjamin Hart over at Star Wars Underworld believes the movie name of Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley may have been leaked…

Benjamin reports that the guys over at Making Star Wars have a source who has seen some script pages over at the Puzzlewood set, and reports: “This is what could be the Daisy character name. And another kind of creature involved. A BIG BIG BIG part of the problem is that there is a massive secrecy campaign on set. A BIG part of that is disinformation with false names false info on documents. Could this be false. Hell, yes! But it is the information that my source managed to see at Puzzlewood. He/she was slightly surprised at being able to get close to this info. I haven’t been able confirm whether this is the genuine thing or just part of JJ’s disinformation strategy.”

Benjamin concludes that Kira – Solo, possibly? – does sound like a Star Wars name and ponders if Rocker is some sort of alien creature, perhaps.

As always, take this with a pinch of salt, but remember, sometimes things leak… Kira could be the character all the young girls want to be two years from now…

The cast for Episode VII includes Pip Anderson, Crystal Clarke, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the Saga Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
