OK, so we’ve reported on this before… way back as far as SDCC we’ve been confident we’d seen not one, but two, prominent Green Lanterns in the DC Movie Universe soon (here).

And it looks like it may actually come to be.

At SDCC Green Lantern Concept art was shown – very briefly – featuring Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Then it was confirmed that the movie would be called Green Lantern Corp and it looked like we weren’t going to get a solitary Green Lantern in the DCMU, but rather a fleshed out universe full of these intergalactic peacekeepers.

Now a new report from Professional Days of Cinema of Sorrento brings us back to the concept of the two Lanterns and, frankly, we’re giddy: “[We] Now suspect that Hal Jordan and John Stewart can be deployed together in the film DC / Warner become more concrete following the panel Warner during the Professional Days of Cinema of Sorrento . The event was shown a featurette of the universe DC in progress to the movies and among other things we have seen a concept of the Green Lantern Corps in which stood out clearly the two characters. That may be the final clue?”

Much like the Aquaman rumours and the Doomsday in Batman V Superman rumours, we’re prepared to say we believe there’s something to this.

We’ll all know in 2020 when the Green Lantern Corp movie hits but we expect to know well before then; and as soon as we know, you’ll know too.
