Well we knew that the sequel to IT was a cert given that the first movie is not only pretty brilliant but is also breaking all sorts of records including top-grossing horror film of all time.
But now we have a release date for the return of Pennywise and The Losers Club: September 6th, 2019.
Yes, Gary Dauberman, one of the screenwriters on It, is back penning the sequel with director Andy Muschietti also expected to return.
Fans of the book – and the original TV series from 1990 – will know that the sequel will be set in the present day, 27 years after the events of the first movie and will see The Losers Club return as adults to Derry, Maine to go after the monster, IT, that terrified them as children.
