Jennifer Lawrence says she, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy have a pact that means they may not return to X-Men…

With everyone talking about X-Men: Apocalypse, eyes are starting to look towards the next instalment and who all will fit into the story, whatever it may be…

And none more-so than the cast.

Now, we know Jennifer Lawrence has hinted in the past that she may not do another movie in the series (here) and now she’s back at it, it seems.

Talking to MTV, the actress seemed to run hot and cold on the idea before dropping the bombshell that she may not come back again: “Fassbender and McAvoy and I were all talking, like, ‘Will you come back? I dunno… I’ll come back, if you come back’.

“Fox should be terrified because the deal we made was like if one of us doesn’t come back, none of us are.

“I would love to come back,” she continues.

“I love the fans and I love the character. But then you realise how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is. I don’t know. I shouldn’t be that honest!”

While we at FTN love Lawrence as Mystique, we think there’s room for her to step down for a while in the role.

Do you agree? Let us know…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
