Kristen Stewart wants into the Marvel Movie Universe

January 18th, 2015 by Marc 2 Comments

Twilight and Snow White and the Huntsman star Kristen Stewart has been saying there’s another franchise she’d like to be part of.

Twilight seems to have been a curse to almost everyone involved, with it leaving such a stigma that many of them have a difficult time shaking off what can only be called persecution for being in them. And, we, for one think that’s a little unfair.

Talking to Yahoo!, Stewart has said she really wants to be in the MCU and, in particular, there’s one hero she wants to be close: “I love watching those movies. I would love to show people that I can do more than just be ‘Kristen Stewart’ in a different movie, in a different circumstance.”

And we reckon she should get a chance. As an actress, she has proved there’s more to here than Twilight and deserves a chance to continue that: “I’m sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean?… It would just have to be the right thing.”

So, could it happen? Would Marvel have a role for her or, omre importantly, would the MCU fans accept it? Well, it’s simply up for speulation, but you never know…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
