Massive Destruction Guaranteed in Batman v Superman?

July 31st, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

Ok, I know that sounds like a rhetorical question given how superhero movies are, but, given how controversial Man of Steel was to some fans who complained about how much damage was done to Metropolis, you have to wonder if the team behind Batman v Superman would tone it down a little…

The answer is an emphatic, “NO!!!”.

And no, I’m not referring to the epic staredown between Batman and Superman we were shown at San Diego Comic-Con recently. But rather pics that are appearing on Twitter via the user @Bananadoc,

Pictures from the set show that there is a bunch of damage coming to Metropolis, and apparently to Gotham as well (more pics on his profile). Is this the aftermath of the Batman/Superman battle? Or is this something else entirely? The damage to the vehicles appears to be coming from above, was someone slammed into it?

No idea as of yet, and I doubt we’ll find out soon. But given how info about the highly anticipated movie is now starting to trickle out, and filming has begun, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw some more pictures soon.
