Look, we can’t say for sure if this poster is official, although we believe it is… what we do know is that the information is all spot-on: the gang is back for Halloween!
Yes, Zombieland 2 will arrive on October 11th, this year and Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin are all back… and we’re hearing Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd may be appearing too (here).
The new synopsis below seems to indicate that what we’ve heard for a while is true and the zombies in this outing will have ‘evolved’ but it seems, like the first movie, the focus won’t be the monsters, but rather the family fighting to survive.
And we’re ok with that.
Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the Zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.
