New pictures from the set of Star Trek: Beyond has revealed Simon Pegg as Scotty, Chris Pine rocking a new Star Fleet uniform and Kingsman star Sofia Boutella as… a pretty cool, Nightsister-looking alien.
The shots were taken in Vancouver, where the movie is currently filming.
Any ideas what might be happening here? What species of alien she is? What the movie is about?

Star Trek Beyond stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin and John Cho and Idris Elba. It’s directed by Justin Lin and is set to enter Earth’s atmosphere on July 8th, 2016.
