You may recall we reported a while ago that it appeared that FOX’s upcoming Legion TV Series was blurring the lines between the FOX Marvel universe and the MCU actual.
Well, it seems there’s IS something to it.
After screening a portion of the show’s pilot episode at New York Comic Con 2016 – it was very well received apparently – Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb appeared to tell the crowd a couple of very interesting things.
Firstly, it appears that Jemaine Clement, star of What We Do in the Shadows and Flight of The Concords, will be in the series alongside Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza – however, who he’ll be playing is still very hush, hush.
Secondly, Loeb also confirmed that FOX and Marvel/Disney ARE building bridges ala Marvel and Sony and that Legion will be the beginning of that bridge.
Does this mean we’ll finally see X-Men and Avengers meeting onscreen? Hard to say, but it’s something that seems to be happening for quite sometime albeit behind closed doors.
And wouldn’t that be something special? Yes. Yes it would…
Watch this space for more and by all means sound off below and on the ol’ Facebook and Twitter.
