Potential big spoilers in new Wonder Woman 1984 rumour

September 25th, 2018 by Marc Comments

One of the biggest mysteries in the recent DC announcements was just why exactly Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine, was back for Wonder Woman 1984 since he died at the end of the first movie (here).

Well, if a new rumour (from an ‘insider’) is to be believed, we may know why.

So, in case this works out, SPOILERS!

It all ties into Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal who has been cast in a so far unknown role.

But maybe now we know what the role is.

“He is a God in disguise, similarly to Ares in the first film, but he’ll affect the story in a much different way. Disguised as a businessman, he makes a deal with Diana that she’ll do his bidding and in exchange, he’ll bring the love of her life back, Steve Trevor,” goes the rumour.

Current thinking is it could be Hades who has ties to Trevor in the comics ore-crisis and actually used him to do his bidding and, on top of that, he also has control over the dead.

But we’ll see.

What say you all?

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters November 1, 2019.
