Director Marc Webb’s latest teases are tweets of Ravencroft Institute and it’s security in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In the pages of Marvel Comics, Dr. Ashley Kafka runs a government backed supervillain mental hospital called Ravencroft Institute. Ravencroft has at one time or another, held the likes of Electro, Vulture, Chameleon, Doc Ock, Carnage, Massacre, Jackal and Shriek. So not a lot of Spider-Man fans there. Both Ravencroft and Dr. Kafka were most recently seen in the pages of Superior Spider-Man.
I wonder if this is where Dr. Curt Connors aka The Lizard is being held? Or is this a tease of where one of the film’s villains will end up when the closing credits roll? Rumors pointed to Felicity Jones playing Black Cat but perhaps she is playing Dr. Ashley Kafka?
