So, after Richard Donner spilling that Goonies 2 was happening (here) we kinda thought he might have been kidding… although we were hopeful that he wasn’t
Now the folks at TMZ have grabbed a few moments with Donner (Here) and he does seem a little cagey from the get-go but then he confirms that… ready?… Steven Spielberg is involved and not just in a casual way. The director reveals that Spielberg actually came up with the idea for the sequel… so does this help confirm the possibility of a Goonies sequel? Hell yes, it does…

Still no details on who’s involved, although the whole cast is apparently the plan, or when it’ll shoot etc, but as always, more as we get it…
