Remember a few weeks ago we told you another Ring movie, called RIngs was in production? No, well it’s here, well, it seems that it will be a prequel to the Naomi Watts American version…
Bloody Disgusting are reporting: “the new The Ring is actually a prequel, and takes place before the 2002 remake that starred Naomi Watts as a woman uncovering the mystery behind a haunted VHS tape. Rings will take place years before the creation of said tape and tell the origin of Samara’s reign of terror.”
So, does the Ring legend need fleshed out more?
Rings was written by David Loucka originally and now Akiva Goldsman and will be directed by Before The Fall’s F. Javier Gutierrez. No word on when we’ll see it though…
