Samuel L Jackson is once again saying Mace Windu survived and ‘is out there’

For years, we Star Wars fans cried out that Boba Fett has survived his time in the Sarlaac Pit and not just because it was in the novel but because he was in our heads and our hearts.

And after Fett came back in first The Mandalorian season 2 and then his own series, we are now backing Samuel L Jackson’s Mace Windu as being the next dead character in the Star Wars universe that the fans refuse to believe is dead. And Jackson agrees.

Samuel L Jackson says we should ‘definitely’ hold out hope for Mace Windu return

Fans will recall that in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Windu had his arm severed, was hit with Force lightening and then flung out a very high-up window by Darth Sidious but he was a powerful Jedi and we’ve long believed that Windu could have survived and Jackson himself said that when he asked George Lucas if he’s still alive, Lucas agreed, saying: “George is like, ‘I’m okay with that. You can be alive.'”

Now, in a new interview on The Tonight Show, below, Jackso once more says he fully believes he’s still alive in the galaxy far, far away: “There’s a history alone, history of one-armed, one-handed people in the Star Wars Universe. So, just cause they cut my arm off and I fell out a window, doesn’t mean I’m dead. I’m a Jedi! The second-most powerful Jedi in the universe next to Yoda. So, I can float. Yeah, he’s out there.”

Temuera Morrison thinks Boba Fett needs to face Samuel L Jackson’s Mace Windu in Book of Boba Fett season 2

And it’s hard to argue.

There was even a lot of hope that, should The Book of Boba Fett get a second season, Boba would once again face off with Windu with Boba Fett actor Temeura Morrison saying that Boba is still full of rage at characters he wants revenge against, with Mace being top of his list.

Fans will recall that Mace killed Boba’s father, Jango Fett, at the Battle of Geonosis right in front of a young Boba and Boba tried to have revenge against Mace but failed during The Clone Wars, so a third confrontation is definitely long over due.

What say you all? Should Jackson return as Mace Windu? Let me know…
