Shazam! was undoubtedly one of DC’s best films (next to the Dark Knight series and the recent Joker movie) and fans were insanely disappointed when they released a few release dates for upcoming movies and Shazam 2 wasn’t announced.
Well the fans have spoken and for once DC have listened, giving us a release date with a planned release of April 1st, 2022.
Thankfully this is getting done a lot sooner than originally planned since the Shazam! kids are all young teenagers or children still at this point so there really isn’t too much time to get these done…
This is, in fact, perfect timing as just a few short month before Shazam 2, we’re expected to receive Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie, and we could accurately speculate that this means he’ll also be making an appearance in Shazam! at some stage, even if he doesn’t come in as one of the main characters.
