Ok, so here’s the question… has DC/Warners already cast Shazam! and not let on to anyone?
You may remember last year we reported that Smallville actor Alan Ritchson (he was Aquaman) seemed to be confirming on Twitter that he’s been cast as Shazam! in the upcoming movie (here).
Now, obviously nothing has been confirmed since then, so we sort of forgot about it.
Until today.
Because Ritchson is back tweeting and this time, he may have something.
Anyone who has seen the new DC Cinematic intro will know it features many of the comics’ best heroes including Shazam! and, well, there’s certainly a similarity there:

He does have a point – the similarity is definitely there.
What say you? Is Ritchson set to be our Shazam!? After all, we know that Geoff Johns has confirmed Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson won’t be appearing in the first movie… so we need a hero cast soon.
