Some good news tonight as Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be in cinemas earlier – much earlier – than expected.
The movie was originally set for October 15th and then, with that damned virus on the rise, fears were that it was going to be pushed back until next year… but Sony just put a new definite release date on it… and it’s sooner than we dared hope.
Yes, it’s going to be hitting cinemas on October 1st.
Word had been that studios were going to be looking at Marvel’s Shang-Chi which opened last weekend to see if there was potential for a big audience despite this air of fear that’s everywhere and, well, it performed better than expected, proving that, yes, people still want to go to the cinema.
So, we’ll see you all in a few weeks for Venom’s return.
Can’t wait.
Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
