OK, so there’s a couple of potentially massive Star Wars Spoilers in here, folks…

One for Episode VIII and one for Rogue One.

Both the same character.

From a certain point of view.

Right, so, there’s been rumours that a Darth Vader Chest Piece and Helmet have been made for A Star Wars Story: Rogue One.

Now, this is interesting because we have heard for a while that it was believed that Vader would be in The Force Awakens, while this is still technically possible, we suppose, it makes more sense that he’d appear in Rogue One, given that it takes place while Vader is at his strongest.

Now sticking (roughly) with Vader, is it possible a Prequel Trilogy appearance is on the cards? (continues after picture)

We’re hearing that Hayden Christensen, he of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader fame, is set for Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Now, wouldn’t that be something?

According to MakingStarWars: “A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort.”

Now, our first thought would be that if Hayden is in EpVIII then he would be a Force Ghost, however, if that’s the case, why would he need to train? Looking at the image below, he could still play the role without much hassle.

So are we in for a flashback, perhaps? Will Luke and Leia perhaps contact their father? Is this all nonsense? Who knows…

But we actually would love to see Hayden back in Star Wars so long as it was justified. Would you?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
