At this stage, we all know that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has two central villains; Lex Luthor and Doomsday. Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex was confirmed long ago, but Doomsday didn’t appear until the movie’s latest trailer, being met with a backlash from fans who complained that too much of the movie was being spoiled.

However, according to a new report from Latino Review (via Squareeyed), there will be a third villain – Bizarro; although we reported as much before Christmas. For those of you don’t know who he is, Bizarro is a clone of Superman made by Lex Luthor.

Below is part of the report by Latino Review which makes the bold claim that he definitely WILL appear in the film, swatting away the suggestion that this is merely a rumour or thin speculation. We’re still not entirely convinced though…

“Bizarro’s appearance isn’t speculation knitted together from other pieces of info, or one of our usual hot rumours that can sometimes be in dispute. Bizarro WILL appear in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” as part of the setup for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League, Part 1.

“In the Post-Crisis DC Comics storyline, Bizarro is a clone of Superman made by Lex Luthor that  is named as such when Luthor says “this bizarre — oh forget it!” before making a move to dispose of the flawed clone. It’s possible that the Bizarro introduced towards the end of “Dawn of Justice” has a similar origin. In the movie, Lex is in control of Zod’s body and Kryptonite, as well as up close and personal with Superman.

“Could Lex take a moment to steal some Superman DNA? Or is it even more devious? With Batman’s question about Superman bleeding leading to Batman inadvertently providing Lex with the DNA to make a Bizarre Superman?  In March, when “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theatres, the debate in Gotham and Metropolis will be how much we can trust Superman. It looks like the movie might end trusting Kal-El, but creating an untrustworthy villain of Kryptonian might.
