It seems this weekend bought an end to the filming of three of most anticipated films for 2016. With Captain America Civil War recently wrapping production, 20th century Fox’s X-Men Apocalypse and Independence Day Resurgence have also wrapped production.

Photos and images of the Civil War cast celebrating also gave us a sense of anticipation, for more to come (above and below).

The party was based in Germany, where the brunt of the film was made, and Chris Evans (Captain America), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier) and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) were in attendance.

Captain America: Civil War is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. It is set to feature the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, this time joined in his “solo” film by fellow Avengers Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. Sebastian Stan will also be back as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier alongside Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Martin Freeman in a mystery role.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016.

Two of  Fox’s biggest movies wrapped this past weekend too:

Roland Emmerich was keen to let everyone know that principal photography was all done on the alien invasion sequel.

After “Independence Day” redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global catastrophe on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

Independence Day Resurgence is set for release on 24th June next year.

Bryan singer also let his fans know on Instagram that the movie was wrapped…

Arriving in theaters on May 27, 2016, Apocalypse is set in 1983 and finds the mutants, including Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and Charles (James McAvoy), taking sides as the godlike Apocalypse plots world destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.
