The Marvel showdown to beat them all… the fight between Thor and Dr Strange over who has the greatest cape is coming.

Not really.

Well, maybe.

Heck, we don’t know.

What we do know is that it looks like Thor may be on his way to meet Dr Strange in Thor Ragnarok (is it too late to be filming an end credits scene for Dr Strange?).

An image shared by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi has Thor holding a piece of paper in his hand and an eagle-eyed fan has zoomed in (check it out below) and it seems – providing there’s not tomfoolery afoot – that the writing on the paper says 221B Baker Street, wait, no, it’s 177A Bleecker St – Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum.

We don’t know what this means, in fact we’re not even completely convinced it’s on the level but if it is then Thor and Dr Strange could be set to meet really soon and that in itself is very, very cool.

Thor: Ragnarok” arrives in theaters on November 3, 2017.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
