As we reported last week (here), the Bumblebee movie has its eye on an interesting choice for the female lead...
And, as we reported last week, the actress in question is True Grit and Edge of Seventeen star Hailee Seinfeld.
What makes it even more interesting is that Travis Knight, director of the beautiful Kubo and the Two Strings, is set to helm it too.
According to THR Steinfeld will play “a tomboy who also holds a job as a mechanic after school.”
Bumblebee will be the first spinoff from the main Transformers movies and, with Seinfeld starring and Knight directing, it has our attention… probably more than it deserves given it’s the sixth TF movie.
So there you are, colour us interested and optimistic.
