Nothing seems to be able to knock Straight Outta Compton off the top spot as it remains in the number one position for a second week, the only film to give it a bit of a challenge was Pixar’s brilliant Inside Out which remains at number two for the fourth week.

There was a total of four new films in this week’s chart, including stoner action comedy American Ultra going in at number eight, the reboot of the Transporter series with Transporter Refuelled going in at number seven, drama with a hint of comedy in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl going in at number five and thriller No Escape hitting the number three spot.

Upcoming - Next week’s new films have a nice mixture to them, they include British crime drama starring two Tom Hardys in Legend, the continuation of the Maze Runner series with The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials, horror from M Night Shyamalan with The Visit and comedy from Woody Allen with Irrational Man.

US Chart

A bit of a strange week when it comes to the US chart as religous drama from Sony Pictures War Room has gone and knocked Staright Outta Compton off the top spot in it’s second week.

Two new films entered this weeks top five in the form of The Transporter Refuelled and A Walk in the Woods going in at number two.

One other quick thing of note is that Spanish film Un Gallo Con Muchos Huevos managed to enter the top 10 at number nine which is impressive for a spanish speaking movie.

5. The Transporter Refulled (NE)
4. Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation
3. Straight Outta Compton
2. A Walk in the Woods (NE)
1. War Room
