While we know that Sony has (understandly) pushed back the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Morbius (here) it seems that we have some symbiote action to look forward to this year when the virus disaster is over.
With the news that we’ll be getting the Black Widow movie this year after all (here), Deadline are reporting that the Andy Serkis-directed Venom 2 will still be hitting screens just before Halloween this year.
Sony is determined to maintain the October 2 release date, giving us, once more, a little bit of sunshine at the end of this s*@tshow we are currently living through.
The movie will, of course see Tom Hardy returning in the titular role and will see Woody Harrelson and Naomi Harris step up as villains Carnage and Shriek and, as someone not afraid to admit to liking the first movie, I’ll be there first night.
I can’t help feeling we may have a trailer soon… is that just me?
Of course, this date may change due to that damned virus, but for now it’s a little hope and that’s no bad thing.
Stay safe, folks
