WATCH: Ahead of Thursday’s Superman teaser trailer reveal, we get a poster, teaser, synopsis and little bit of the new theme music

Ahead of today’s press event to unveil the teaser trailer for James Gunn’s Superman, we have some cool new stuff from the movie ahead of the trailer being released online this Thursday.

The teaser trailer’s release has been confirmed by James Gunn, but there have been some very cool Superman reveals including a poster, a motion poster and a teaser for the, em, teaser and in there we also have a small sample of composer John Murphy’s new theme for Superman which draw from both John Willaims and Hans Zimmer’s work on the previous Superman movies.

Here’s the movie’s official synopsis:

James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.
