WATCH: Finally! The trailer for Spider-man: No Way Home is here

August 24th, 2021 by Marc Comments

After months of speculation, rumours, theories and debates, the trailer for Spider-man: No Way Home is finally here.

And it’s pretty damned exciting.

The trailer finally confirms that yes, we are going to see villains from the Garfield and Maguire movies, with Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin being teased, along with Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman and Rhys Ifans’ Lizard all making blink and you’ll miss them appearances before the full reveal of the definitive live-action spider-man villain… Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus.

Man, it’s a ride of a trailer but still no sign of the past two Spider-man actors, Andrew Garfield or Toby Maguire… though I still feel confident they’re in the movie, just being held back for a later reveal.

Most exciting of all, the trailer alleviates many fans’ fears that the movie would be delayed or go straight to streaming but the trailer makes it very clear that this Christmas (December 17th) we’ll all be in the cinema, munching popcorn and having the most fun we can have in the dark while fully clothed. Ho, ho, ho!

Let me know what you thought of this trailer, gang.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
