Ever since the crazy news that Paul Feig was planning to reboot Ghostbusters with a group of funny ladies was announced (again, to clarify, the ladies isn’t an issue for us at FTN but the reboot part is) the rumour mill has been bouncing names around.
But the one name that keeps coming up is director Feig’s Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy.
However, on the Ellen Show, McCarthy has said that while every woman in Hollywood who thinks they are funny wants in, she herself has no horse in the race. Yet.
So, depending on your stance, you can sigh in relief or annoyance…. but just because she’s not in now, it by no means means she never will be.
