WATCH: New poster and trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes arrive

December 20th, 2023 by Marc Comments

A full new trailer and poster have arrived for the fourth in the new Planet of the Apes series, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Director Wes Ball has recently teased that the new movie is almost biblical in proportion and has a sequence that will hark back to the tales of Noah and the Great Flood. The story takes place many years after the end of the previous trilogy of Apes movies.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Wes Ball and stars Owen Teague, Freya Allen and Peter Macon.

Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic, franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
