Having just landed on the Internet, the brand new trailer for Captain America: Civil War shows off more action, more drama, more tension between Steve and Tony… but do we get our first glimpse of Spider-Man?
Released by Marvel themselves, the trailer has the internet buzzing with what should be the final full length trailer we get before the film’s release. Oh and there’s a new poster above too.
Following yesterday’s two preview teasers which sized up both teams, this full length trailer gives us more of the tension building between Cap and Iron Man, where things are with Bucky following The Winter Soldier, the battle lines being drawn – including a potentially fatal scene involving War Machine – and glimpses of Scarlett Witch, Vision, Ant-Man, Black Panther and more, write Squareeyed.
And by more, we mean Spider-Man.
Yep, Peter Parker’s wall-crawler drops in at the very end, backing up team Tony! Leaving Cap all webbed up, this shocking twist will have us scratching our heads until April.
Synopsis: Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War opens in U.S. theaters on May.
Captain America: Civil War punches its way into cinemas on 29th April.
