WATCH: The Rock declares Black Adam filming done, reveals poster and image – full trailer coming tomorrow

June 7th, 2022 by Marc Comments

Well, that’s it, Black Adam is officially finished filming and, to celebrate, we have a new poster, above, image, below and a signoff from star Dwayne Johnson himself, also below.

The movie was originally set to release this July but was forced to undergo some reshoots but this way we still have it to look forward to as a cool Halloween treat as it now drops on October 21st.

Continues after picture:

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a screenplay by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani, the film will star Dwayne Johnson as Teth Adam / Black Adam alongside Noah Centineo as Albert Rothstein / Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Khufu / Carter Hall / Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel / Cyclone, Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson / Doctor Fate, Sarah Shahi as Professor Adrianna Tomaz, and Djimon Hounsou as Shazam. Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Will Henry Cavill’s Superman appear in Black Adam?

The full trailer for the movie arrives tomorrow – we’ve only had this glimpse of the movie so far – and we’re pretty excited.

You can watch Johnson’s, em, colourful video below in which he reveals that the movie is all in the can, as they say, including all the recent reshoots and all we have to do now is wait until October to see it for ourselves:

Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Black Adam will hit cinemas on October 21st, 2022.
