With the new Wonder Woman still just over a year away that’s not stopping news from getting out, whether its Pedro Pascal being cast in some unknown role, the return of Steve Trevor or now, with a leak on Instagram, it looks like we could be seeing a second race of Amazons.

A new image (above) has been released online that is apparently linked to the new movie.
Now it’s unsure where the image came from but what we can see poses a lot of questions. First off, the photo features actress Rosanna Walls who wasn’t in the first DCEU Wonder Woman, however the clothes that she’s wearing are looking very close to those worn by the politicians in the first movie that decided Steve’s fate.
Another thing that’s worth a look at here is the caption talking about Bana Mighdall, now for those who aren’t in the know, the Amazons of Bana Mighdall are a branch of Amazons whom rejected the gods of Olympus and left Themyscira for the sole purpose of exacting their revenge upon mankind. They since took up residence in Egypt where they became a militant faction.
Perhaps this could have something to do with the new villains coming into Wonder Woman ’84 with Cheetah and Maxwell Lord both meant to have big parts in the next feature.
We’re still unsure as to what this all means for Wonder Woman but I for one am really looking forward to seeing what’s gonna happen next.
