We reported a few days ago that Wonder Woman 2 had started filming (here) and now we have a pretty cool tease about the movie’s title…
We previously knew the movie, which will see Patty Jenkins return to direct with Gal Gadot starring as Wonder Woman and Kristen Wiig starring as villain Cheetah, would be set in the 1980s and now this new tease confirms when exactly it will take place and also a potential title:
Wonder Woman 1984.
We previously said we hoped Ghostbusters would be a reference in the movie and, coincidentally, ’84 is when Ghostbuters was released. Another interesting thing about the logo is we’re getting a lot of people saying the logo makes them think of an old TV broadcast or Big Brother… and it’s possibly no coincidence that George Orwell’s iconic tale about the always watching Big Brother was based in, you guessed it, 1984.
What this all means is anyone’s guess, but we assure you that once again, DC and Warners have our attention, what about you guys?
On top of all this, Man of Steel and Batman V Superman director Zack Snyder has confirmed that he is still in the Warners/DC camp and will be producing Wonder Woman 1984
