VIDEO: Chris Pine spotted on Wonder Woman 2 set… is he back?

May 29th, 2018 by Marc Comments

You may recall in February we reported two things about the then ages away Wonder Woman 2. Firstly, we reported that Ghostbusters: Answer The Call star Kristen Wiig would be the villain and secondly we reported that Chris Pine would be, as we said at the time: “Pine will be playing an ancestor of Steve Trevor (also called Steve Trevor) who will help wonder woman defeat her new foe just like his Grandfather did in the original.”

We’ve since learned that Wiig is indeed in the big bad role (we can’t wait to see what she does in the role) and now a video (below) shows Pine on the set of the movie which started filming at the weekend.

Now, of course this isn’t confirmation… but we’re going to put our necks on the block and say that he will indeed return in the 1980s set sequel.

What say you all?

Wonder Woman 2 is due for release on 1st November 2019 and will once again star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and this time she’ll face-off against Kristen Wiig as Cheetah. Excited isn’t the word.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
