As we reported last week, Kirstin Wiig was in talks to play the villainess in the up coming Wonder Woman Sequel Wonder Woman 2 (They really are not trying with these sequel titles).
This week director Patty Jenkins confirmed on twitter (below) that the deal was done and that we have our Cheetah.
“So excited to confirm the most thrilling news,” Jenkins hyperbolized , “Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to finally work with one of my favourites. And SO excited by what we have planned.”

Wonder Woman 2 is due for release on 1st November 2019 with shooting to begin this summer.
Here’s to hoping that while working on the movie they work on the title too. Expect a semicolon and more words to be added before release or as this is the DCEU a “Vs” or if we are really lucky a “Crisis”.
