Bad news for Adventure Time fans – the beloved post-apocalyptic comedy adventure fantasy animation will be ending after six years.
But at least Pendleton Ward, its creator, has confirmed that it will have a definite ending unlike many cartoons which get cancelled on an endless adventure, so they can be syndicated for eternity and not be released on DVD (cough, cough Disney).
Regular Show is also ending after a similarly long and fruitful run.
While we’re saddened at the news, we like that both shows – especially Adventure Time which is an outstanding cartoon – will have an ending and not die mid-season like so many of our favourites so often do.
