Simon Templar, The Saint, is set to invade your TV… again.
Hopefully it’ll be more in the tradition of Moore and not the dire Val Kilmer movie! Moore played Templar from 1962 to 1969.
The new pilot from ITV will film next year says writer Ed Whitmore who is writing it with Chris Lunt: “There is a post-Breaking Bad appetite for morally grey characters.
“Simon Templar is a kind of Robin Hood figure, he’s timeless.”
So expect the search for the British anti-hero to kick off very soon…
