HBO’s cult favourite Bored To Death may be being made into a movie for the pay cable network.
Although it ran for three seasons it garnered good reviews and saw a great ensemble cast. It saw struggling author Jonathan Ames (Jason Schwartzman) turn crime fighter along with his womanising father George (Ted Danson) who smoked quite a lot of pot on the side and gave a terrific comedic performance throughout.
Also returning would be Jonathan’s comic book artist mate, Ray (Zach Galifianakis).
Although nothing has been conformed all three leads have expressed they want to return to the roles. Bored to Death the movie would be a slapstick comedy in a similar vein to the series.
