Casting info and plot synopsis for the Scream TV series…

July 31st, 2014 by Marc Comments

You know, as reluctant as we are to watch the Scream TV series, we must admit that with Hannibal and Bates Motel proving there are great stories to be told in universes we thought were dead/fully explored, we’re not writing this off just yet. Well, at least not totally.

Bloodydisgusting are reporting that John Karna, Carlson Young and Amadeus Serafini (pictured, in that order, below) are currently MTV’s favourites for the lead characters in the show… and they won’t all make it to the end of the season.

The story, by Ravenwood writer Jill Blotevogel is said to “center on a YouTube viral video gone wrong, which leads to adverse repercussions for teenager Audrey Jesen and will also serve as the “catalyst for a murder and opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.”

They go on to report that CarlsonYoung is up for the part of Brooke Maddox: ” a 16-year-old who is described as “the high gloss queen bee who thinks she’s nice and the world’s just reading her wrong, capable of being bubbly and seemingly-genuine and also capable of being ferociously sexy.”

It’s not clear who Karna and Serafini are up for but speculation is two of these three: “Noah Foster, a creative, brilliant and tech-savvy friend of Audrey’s, Will Belmont, a tall, very attractive basketball player and Kiernan Wilcox, a smart and new student at school who is more mature than his peers.”

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
