So it’s not news that Marvel’s MCU is not quite as complete as many believe, with the gap between the two making the news a few times before.

However, with us all waiting with baited breath for Daredevil Season 2, star Charlie Cox, who plays the man without fear, has one fear… that he might be recast if Daredevil ever hits the big screen.

When asked if he’d hope to appear in the next phase of Avengers movie, Cox replied: “I have not received that call! Could you imagine? That would be the coolest thing ever.”

However, he wasn’t done there, adding that he’s not really expecting to be a part of the MCU in cinemas: “Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character were to appear in that film, that doesn’t necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose!”

This ties in to what Anthony Russo, co-director of Captain America: Civil War said recently: “The films are controlled by a group led by Kevin Feige, so they function as a unit. Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others.”

We have our issues with the MCU but were certainly wouldn’t like to see Cox replaced as Daredevil… heck, we’ve love to see him on the big screen with Iron Man, Thor and the rest.

What about you all?
