Charlie Cox is the MCU’s Daredevil says Kevin Feige… now, when will we see him?

December 9th, 2021 by Marc Comments

There has been much speculation for some time now that we may see Charlie Cox return as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, reprisong his role from the Netflix series in the MCU.

Fans have believed that we would see him in the upcoming Spider-man: No Way, indeed, a leak a few weeks ago seemed to show him in the movie, however, time will tell if this is true.

Now, however, Marvel boss Kevin Feige, has said that, yes, if we see Daredevil in the MCU, he will be played by Cox:

“If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil,” Feige says.

“Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”

Interestingly, in the clip above, the woan beside him in Sony’ Amy Pascall, the two are doing press for Spider-man: No Way Home which is a joint venture, but she giggles when he says it which, to mean, seems to hint at her knowing more than is being said.

Interestingly, a new rumour today has it that Cox will appear in the MCU Disney+ series, Hawkeye, the third episode of which certainly seems to hint that Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin – the villain from the Daredevil series – is coming soon. Therefore, if this happens, Daredevil also appearing woul make sense.

So, between Feige confirming Cox is/will be the MCU’s Daredevl moving forward, paired with this new rumour, I’s be confident we’ll see him appearing very, very soon.

This of course has us wondering if/when we’ll see Jessica Jones, Punisher, Luke Cage and the other Netflix heroes appear if Daredevil and Kingpin opin the floodgates.

Let me know your thoughts on all this, guys…

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set for release on December 17th 2021
