He may have said it before (he did) but Charlie Cox is once again saying he really wants Daredevil, who he plays in the hit Netflix/Marvel series, to go against his arch nemesis Bullseye in the show’s third season.

Don’t we all, Charlie, don’t we all?

Remember not a million years ago it seems that Jason Statham was almost cast as Bullseye (here) before it all turned a little, well, nasty. We would have loved to see the Stath lay him by the way.

“It’s no secret, I’ve said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I’d like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it’s a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn’t want Bullseye to show up either,” Cox said at Wizard World in Pittsburgh.

For the record, Elektra and Karen, played by Woll and Yung in the show, both meet their ends at the hands of the villain in the comics, so the actresses probably reckon his arrival could mean their ends.

It’s not much of a story, we admit, but it is once to know that Bullseye is still in the minds of the folks at Netflix now, can we just make it happen already?!

Or is it just us? Let us know…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
