Ok, if you haven’t read Smallville Season 11 (it’s ok, I haven’t either) then this story will be a little vague, but stick with me.
In the tv series Smallville, in the final season Clark Kent (Tom Welling) sold the Kent farm – despite it being in the Kent family for generations – and moved to Metropolis with Lois Lane (Erica Durance).
The farm actually appeared in the last Arrowverse crossover as the home of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, fact fans.
However, in the comic series Smallville Season 11 Clark feels guilty for selling the farm and buys it back.
Now, this event will be held true in the upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths according to producer Marc Guggenheim who has confirmed that, while not referenced, the events of Smallville Season 11 (the comic) will be stuck to but not referenced… except the buying back of the farm which happened “off-camera.”
So, there you have it, a nice bit of further connective tissue between the Arrowverse and Smallville and, sort of, the comic.
Let me know your thoughts, folks.
Crisis on Infinite Earths kicks off Sunday, December 8th on Supergirl, then continues with a Monday episode of Batwoman and that Tuesday’s The Flash. After a month-long holiday break, it concludes with the Jan. 14 episode of Arrow and a special instalment of Legends of Tomorrow.
