Twin Peaks fans rejoice!

After the Twin Peaks sequel series was confirmed late last year (here) fans were in a state of euphoria until it was all called off (here) and it looked like the one series and movie was to be the end of the story of Twin Peaks.

But rejoice because David Lynch, the man responsible for the groundbreaking series, has just confirmed on Twitter that it’s all back on.

There’s no other details right now but expect info in the coming days and weeks.

But for now, that’s some damn fine coffee…

UPDATE: Showtime President David Nevins has revealed that it will now be an even longer series than originally announced:

“This damn fine cup of coffee from Mark and David tastes more delicious than ever. Totally worth the extra brewing time and the cup is even bigger than we expected. David will direct the whole thing which will total more than the originally announced nine hours. Pre production starts now!!
