The first pic of Italia Ricci as Supergirl baddie Silver Banshee has been revealed online through website Entertainment Tonight.

Ricci is set to debut first as Banshee’s alter-ego Siobhan Smythe,  assistant to Cat Grant and rival of Kara before she becomes a villain later in the season. Rumours are swirling that she will actually be the villain to face Supergirl and the Flash when the two shows crossover in March after this picture on-set leaked showing Grant Gustin as the Flash and Silver Banshee in the background… (continues after pic)

Other DC TV news this week, we have had confirmation that Trajectory, a female speedster will debut this season on The Flash. She will be portrayed by actress Allison Paige, Described as an “exceptionally bright scientist” with a “split personality a la Jekyll and Hyde.”

Trajectory first appeared in the comics as civilian Eliza Harmon was engineered to be given speed powers by Lex Luthor as part of the Everyman Project in the DC weekly comic ’52’. Luthor used a drug administered to a percentage of Metropolis to bring about their metagene in order to replace Superman, who vanished along with Wonder Woman and Batman after Infinite Crisis. She died shortly after, as did most of the Everyman subjects when Luthor terminated the project.

Her official debut will be in Episode 16 with this description: “Having arrived in town intent on creating maximum chaos, Trajectory’s antics are misinterpreted as having been perpetrated by the Flash himself. Barry thus must quickly uncover the mystery of who is the girl under the mask — as well as what is driving her mad desire for speed and destruction.”

We also got to see a new Flash promo that confirms we will see Arrow alumni Lila and Diggle arrive in Central City to warm of the return of none other than King Shark! (continues)

The official synopsis of episode 2.15 titled “King Shark”: “When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lila (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (David Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash. King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe, Iris, Wally and Barry.”

I’m very excited to see King Shark again, the little we saw of him at the start of the season wasn’t enough and from what the Flash has done with Gorilla Grodd, I trust they will do King Shark justice.

Check out the Jaws inspired promo! (continues after video for UPDATE)

UPDATED:

When Supergirl returns next week in an episode called Truth, Justice and the American Way, she’ll face another classic villain:

Supergirl does battle with the deadly Master Jailer (Jeff Branson), who is hunting and executing escaped Fort Rozz prisoners. Also, Cat hires a second assistant, Siobhan Smythe (Italia Ricci), who immediately tries to one-up Kara, and Kara and James disagree over the DEO’s methods.

Here’s a few images of their battle:
