We’re not going to lie…  we were jaded with Agents of SHIELD. Honestly, no other show has had us at ‘I’m not watching any more of this’ more that SHIELD.

But we decided we’d give the new season a chance. Why? Because Ghost Rider is in it.

And we’re glad we did because overall, the show has finally – it only took four years – found its stride and it’s in no small part thanks to Gabriel Luna’s performance as Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance.

Now the actor (above) has, not for the first time, hinted that the Rider may have more coming that just SHIELD: “I don’t have a preference. People talk about ‘Ah man he’d be great as a feature,’ which is [an] idea too… It could be in the cinema, it could live on Netflix, whatever it is.

“It’s been talked about, there’s definitely deals in place for that potential. But I just take it one day at a time. I have so much fun now I just want to make sure I get these episodes right. If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well.”

We actually think that Ghost Rider could be a great character to like the ABC and Netflix shows to the movie universe, don’t you?

Are you loving SHIELD this season? What do you think of Luna in the role? Let us know your thoughts.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
