Get ready for the Rush Hour TV series. Groan. UPDATED: It has a home now

October 6th, 2014 by Marc Comments

Further to the report that Big was coming to out TV screens earlier today, it looks like another comedy is now set for the TV series treatment in the form of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker’s Rush Hour movies. Now, we swear this is true. Honest.

According to InsideTV, “Rush Hour follows a by-the-book Hong Kong police officer who is assigned to a case in Los Angeles, where he’s forced to work with a cocky African-American LAPD officer who has no interest in having a partner. Cougar Town co-creator Bill Lawrence, along with Blake McCormick, are the writers on the project.”

There’s still no network or deal made, but this could well be a thing. Are you excited? No, neither are we…

UPDATE:

EW are reporting that Rush Hour is coming to CBS, with a pilot ordered by the network.

In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
