Han and Finn set to star in upcoming episodes of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny

August 30th, 2017 by Marc Comments

With the first batch of new online animated Star Wars series Forces of Destiny over, we’re already starting to look forward to the future episodes.

If you haven’t seen them, they are all here.

And it looks like the future will see male Star Wars characters moving into the spotlight, according to Star Wars Insider #175.

The series so far focused on female-only characters – Rey, Leia, Ashoka, Jynn – but that’s all going to change later in the series.

“Lucasfilm Story Group member Carrie Beck reveals […] that the series will see the animated debut of iconic male Star Wars characters later on during the show’s run, specifically Finn (who will be voiced by on-screen actor John Boyega) and Han Solo. Beck does not state who will be providing the voice of Han.”

We doubt we’ll see Ford voicing Han but we reckon Anthony Ingruber is the man for the gig.

Anyway, it’ll be nice to see episodes also focusing on the male characters along with the ladies.

What do you guys all reckon?

Forces of Destiny returns later this fall
