While the character of Vibe has been around since the 80s, he had been mostly seen as a joke with his underdeveloped powers and tacky costume. However, DC writer Geoff Johns dusted Vibe off for his new 52 launch of Justice League of America and the character’s alter ego of Cisco Ramone had a starring role in CW hit show ‘The Flash’.
With The Flash’s second season just wrapping Carlos Valdes who plays Cisco Ramon/Vibe chatted with Comicbook.com on the red carpet at the CW upfronts. With his character finally embracing his powers this season, we have been seeing more and more of Vibe’s costume from the comic influencing his on-screen persona. So far it’s just been Vibe’s signature eye-wear but will we see his full costume in season 3?? He had this to say:
“Reason would have it,” he said, throwing up his hands, “that’s all I’m gonna say!”
Sounds suspicious! If we are going to see full costumed Vibe soon, does that mean we’ll also see some 80s Vibe breakdancing? We can only hope…
